Headteacher Mrs Patricia Woodhouse has worked for over 25 years in some of the UK's most prestigious and sought after girls' schools, having previously held posts as Director of Music at Wimbledon High School in London, Sixth Form Housemistress of Queenswood School, Deputy Head at St Mary's Wantage, Head of Abbots Bromley School for Girls, and Headmistress of Malvern St James Girls' School. Mrs Woodhouse is also a trained ISI Team Inspector, an experienced School Governor and a member of the Worshipful Company of Educators.



We are very grateful for Surval and the impact it has had on our daugther. We have experienced her growth and maturity throughout this year. She’s become much more independent and a well defined human being.

Latest Inspection Report

Following a one week Review in October 2015 the team from AdvancED (a global improvement and accreditation provider for 32’000 institutions worldwide offering the High School program), Surval Montreux received excellent feedback on all aspects of the school and was designated as having ‘Powerful Practice’ in three areas: teaching and learning, purpose and direction, and support systems.
