School swimmers win Greater Manchester Swimming Finals

Posted on: 18 Mar 2016

Following their recent success at the Trafford Schools' Gala, four Year 5 boys from Forest Preparatory School were asked to represent their school and borough at the Greater Manchester finals on Tuesday 15th March.

The children took part in an Opening Ceremony at the City of Manchester Stadium and then made their way to the prestigious Manchester Aquatics Centre.

Following incredible timings in each individual race and adding two record-breaking team relay swims, the boys were crowned victorious against all the other boroughs in Manchester.

Forest Preparatory School is keen to develop and celebrate swimming and participate in a range of swimming events each year. The four boys represented their school superbly and we congratulate them on their fantastic achievements.
