Farlington School joins Bellevue Education

News

Bellevue Education is delighted to welcome a new school to the group. This now takes the group to 18 schools within the UK in addition to the 3 on Continental Europe.

Farlington is an independent day and boarding school for pupils aged four to eighteen in Horsham, West Sussex, England. Farlington was founded in 1896 originally in Haywards Heath but moved to its present site at Strood Park near Horsham in 1955.

Currently the School caters for girls, with boys admitted into Reception from September 2018. As part of the change in ownership, Farlington will gradually open its entry to include boys at key points across the school, looking to become fully co-educational over the next few years.

Commenting on joining the group, Headmistress, Louise Higson, “I am delighted that Farlington will be joining the Bellevue Education group of schools. I believe that this represents an amazing opportunity for the School as we enter an exciting new chapter. The vision, ethos and educational approach which are so dear to us sit brilliantly with Bellevue’s approach. I believe we can look forward to an exciting future for all pupils, parents and staff at Farlington”.

Mark Malley, CEO of Bellevue Education, said: “From my first visit to the school I felt that Farlington would be a natural fit to the Bellevue group as both share the same values and commitments: providing an educational environment that challenges, nurtures, excites and involves every single pupil. I am delighted to welcome the school to the group and I very much look forward to working with Louise and her dedicated team.”
