Ealing Independent College announced as top performing West London College

Posted on: 21 Jan 2016

The Department of Education published the GCSE and A-Level performance of schools across England today, and we are delighted to say that Ealing Independent College was announced as the best performing West London College in producing top grades. Following consistently strong performance year on year, the College produced its best results ever with, 32% of A-Level students having achieved AAB or higher in at least two facilitating subjects.

Principal of Ealing Independent College, Dr Ian Moores, commented: "I am delighted with these exceptional results. The percentage of students achieving AAB or better shows the proportion of students who are eligible for a place on the more competitive courses at the Russell Group universities. The disciplined and rigorous approach that is the hallmark of the College has certainly paid off!”

The results Ealing Independent College has achieved is particularly pleasing as top grades are down on a national basis. Whilst the strong results signifies the high percentage of students at the College being guaranteed access to the Russell Group universities, as many as 70% of the student body at Ealing also gain access to their first or second choice university each year.
