Creative Forest Park Pupils Crowned ISI Art Competition Champions

Posted on: 08 Dec 2015

Forest Park Preparatory School’s talented Year 3 class have won the Independent Schools Association Regional Art Competition, with their multimedia piece, ‘Trunky the Elephant’. ‘Trunky’ was crowned the winner in the ‘2D Art Group: KS1’ category, before going on to win first place in the National Competition.

The ISI Art Competition is held annually, and is an opportunity for schools to showcase a selection of pupils’ artwork; hundreds of pieces of work are submitted each year from schools around the country.

Nick Tucker, Headteacher at Forest Park, said, “We are all so proud of our Year 3 children; they worked extremely hard to create such an eye-catching and expressive piece, and I hope they are all as proud of their achievement as we are.”
